Technical University – Sofia is founded in 1945 and until now continues to improve own technical base and make prosper in academicals achievements.

In the recent years Technical University of Sofia makes attempts for recreate and build new connections between science, industry and society in economical and social context in high competitive environment.

For the first time this year Bulgaria will take part in the European edition of the project Shell Eco-marathon, organized annually by Royal Dutch Shell plc. The purpose to the competition is to be creating of a transport vehicle, which has to extend as far as possible the distance with a minimal quantity of fuel and to produce the least CO2 emissions.

In this moment a team of 6 students in “Transport technique and technologies” of the Technical University – Sofia with a Manager As. Prof. Traykov works on unique automobile with which will take part in Shell Eco-marathon 2008.
